Wireless Home Cinema
Guys

Have been looking at some SoundBars (Yamaha and Philips) but after various reviews, seems they will never be a true subsitute for 5.1 Surround Sound. I didn't fancy laying cables around the room so does anyone have any good expericence of wireless surround sound systems and do they work ? Any recommendations ?

I have read some reviews on the Panasonic SC-PT760 but it seems they are only in the US ($399). Looking at around 200-300 quid.

'Wireless' still require wires, usually between the rears

Mate
I'm happy to run cables between the rears but I dont fancy going around the whole room. I could suppose lift and replace the carpet and lay them down that way.

If you got 'fitted' carpets you could tuck the cables down between the skirting board and the gripper, theres usally a 10mm gap there
