audio/visual input question

I have an old Symphonic SC-3919 tv/dvd. I'd like to bring audio/visual in through the front panel jacks.

What do these kinds of sets do to allow me to switch from watching tv to watching the pc scan converter images fed to the tv? I'd like to switch back and forth betwee tv and pc scan images.

I tried to contact Symponic, and their customer service input seems to be down. Thought I might ask here.

Is it as simple as plug the audio/visual in and you have that on tv screen-- Unplug and you have tv?

Don't you have a dedicated "A/V" button on the remote?

Maybe use button "0"..?

Seems like I may have to use GAMES for that control. That might do it.
