1080i Samsung 32" LCD TV - Recommend a HTIB Please

Ahoy!

I wish to replace my existing Panasonic SC-HT500 DVD/home theatre kit with an upscaler unit. I need best advice for a set-up to £250.00 (max).

My Samsung LE32R41BD 32" LCD TV is 1080i standard according to the user manual, though it has been firmware upgraded, but I know not what the upgrade did!

The TV does NOT have an optical connector, but does have one HDMI socket apart from the usual stuff.

I have been looking at a Panasonic SC-PT450EB-K (multi-region), though the R2 version can be bought via Amazon for £129.99 delivered! I do need multiregion and 500w minimum output in 5.1.

I would really appreciate guidance and if possible, links to reviews and tech specs.
