Denon S-102 subwoofer

Hi all. Does anyone here have the Denons S-102 surround sound system? While I am very happy with it, the subwoofer is just so damn loud! I have brought some cones for the sub-woofer and placed marble underneath it, but still it just shakes everything in the room! ( and I have put the sub-woofer volume down). I like the sound, but I can only use it in the daytime for fear of my neighbours lynching me! I have also stuck it in D-COMP mode (I think that is what it is called. I can't remember off the top of my head), but still no joy. Does anyone have any perls of wisdom?

Also, why are there still no reviews of it? Never really a good sign when you can't find reviews!

I have a S301 and had a similar problem - better that way round eh

There are options to adjust the bass, think it's the tone button on the remote, you can also adjust the processing options - there is a night time mode too. It's in the manual
