What do people think of this for my TH42PX70? Is it any good?

The sounds good but some playback quality issues, now dis-continued and removed from panasonic site

Oh!  DO you recommend another Panasonic system with Viera link? Are anywhere selling it off cheap now its discontinued? Thanks

Have a look at the 850 and 350

The 450 has not digital inputs, so if you wanted to connect say a sky box, virgin or ps3 etc for 5.1 sound it wouldnt be suitable

The in-law has just taken his 450 back and swapped it for a Pioneer.
He reckons it wasn't too good (build quality, sound). He had come from a Sony Dav s550. ?
I think my money will be in the 850.

I need a black coloured system with small speakers and i got a budget of £150-£200, any help for a novice would be great matey.

Kentish Lad i am struck on the 850, it just looks so good and for £250 seems a bargain! Is it loud?

How long are the speaker wires? Have you got the 4 speakers in each corner of your lounge? Thanks again Kentish Lad

Ive got a 50" plasma in the middle of a 12' wall, the fronts are about 2' from the screen sides so almost in the corners, a nice wide soundstage, the rears are actually in the corners, the centre is in the TV stand and the SUB is tucked away behind a chinmey breast, the rear wires are long enough for decent size room going round the skirting under the carpet
