System for use with Daewoo PVR

All

As per my earlier post I bought a Samsung TH-TX35r all in one system, which was faulty (noise when on standby). Amazon are collecting it tmrw for a refund.

I tried the optical connection with my Daewoo 9503 PVR last night and could not get the audio to sync with the video, despite trying all the delay settings!

I've come to the conclusion that the Sammy is not the way forward for my setup.

Does anyone use an all in one system sucessfuly with the Daewoo optical output?

Ideally I need multi-region and floor standing speakers

Thanks

David
