Hi all.
I bought panasonic sc-pt550 3 weeks ago and it doesn't read divx movies.
I can only watch DVD.

Any ideas?

"Products for the U.K. are not equipped with MPEG4 and DivX playback function."

Same problem.
Very p.off about it. The downloaded manual did not say that the UK version doesn't play DivX, so I bought it.
Now I am stuck with a lemon.

There must be some way of enableing DivX!
I also think this could be a case for European law as they are discriminating against the UK.
From what I have found out, ALL models thoughout the world support Divx except the UK model.

I agree it's SO lame it's untrue, they should be shot for neglecting to provide the important UK market with a very important feature, it's just not good enough and I wouldn't buy their products solely for that reason.
