Sony htss 1000 - humming noise?

Sony htss 1000 - humming noise?
I have had this system for nearly a year now. It has suddenly started to make this low pitch humming noise when i have it on the input one/my tv setting, but none of the other outputs. I have checked all the cables but can't seem to sort it out. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so how did they cure it or does it need to go back to Sony?
