HD DVD and Panasonic SA-HT530 ??

Hi

I am looking for some advice please. I currently own a Panasonic SA-HT530 All in one surround system and I am looking to purchase either the Toshiba HD-EP30 or the Toshiba HD-EP35.

Are these HD DVD players compatible with this surround sound system for 5.1 sound as it does not have optical.

Also is the Panasonic SA-HT530 compatible with Sky + for 5.1 sound ?

TIA

Re: HD DVD and Panasonic SA-HT530 ??

Are there any all in one products currently or due to be released onto the marketplace that will be either HD-DVD or Blu Ray ?

As my existing Panasonic SA-HT530 system does not have an optical in - I seem to very limited in surround sound connectivity options i.e. SKY+ OR Sky HD or HD-DVD Blu Ray.

Any recommended all in one systems that are quite future proof ?
