Hi,

I am new to this site and wondered if anyone could help me. I am trying to conect all of the above so I can have them play though my surround. I am not bothered about the Tv playing though the surround as we alway have sky on. I have this connected at the moment but not sure how to connect the PS3 so I can play this through surround.

I am not very technical minded so you will have to bear with me.

I will not be using the pioneer to watch DVD's on anymore as I will only be using PS3 for blue ray etc etc. But its rubbish watching them with out having the surround sound as the sound is rubbish on the Samsung but the picture quality is excelent.

Can anyone suggest what cables I will need etc etc and and idiots guide for connection.

I assume your Pioneer has an digital optical (Toslink) port on the back, if it does then all you need is a cable connected between the 2. Remember to go into your PS3 sound settings & tick the optical setting there....
You can buy digital optical (Toslink) cables for about £3 on ebay....
