Has anyone with a DAV-DZ830 setup managed to get the Sky+ remote to control the volume of the 830.

If so, can you tell me how - I've tried various codes from various sites of which I can't get any to work.

Managed to work it out. Code 1886 works the DAV-DZ830.

Press TV, Sect and 0 till red light flashes twice, input code.

Hey presto, able to control the volume using the Sky remote.

Only problem I've found is that you need to cover the remote when switching from TV to Sky control options.

A minor thing - being able to control the volume is a big plus.

That's great news. When my DZ830 arrives I'll follow your instructions.

What happens, that makes you want to cover the remote when pressing the sky button?

Did you try the secondary option outlined on the weblink ie

If your Sky+ remote is fairly new or you have the Sky Navigator remote it may be possible to set the normal volume/mute controls to work your amp rather than the TV. And without pressing the TV key!
Proceed as follows
1. Program the remote as per previous instruction to control your amp using the arrow keys in TV mode.
2. Press TV Key
3. Hold down select and press 1 until the remote's LED flashes twice (if it only flashes once or remains on steady I'm afraid your remote does not support this feature).
4. Press Sky key and enjoy.
To reverse the process press select and 2 rather than 1.

Just done the Select & 1 button - it works.

The normal volume buttons control the 830 volume.

The other buttons on the remote can be used to control the 830 as well.
Will need to write them down!!

press TV button on Sky remote - the left navigation key turns on/off the 830.
The up/down navigation keys control the TV volume (although i have the speaker turned off).
