Greeting Dear Group. I am shortly taking delivery of my new Samsung LE37R87BDX TV. I also have a DVD Player and a VCR. I was looking into the subject of Home Cinema but to tell the truth i hardly ever watch DVD's (never seem to find time) All i will be watching are the freeview programs basically.

Now, i have read that the speakers in LCD's aren't the very best so my question is this. Would i get any advantage from a Home Cinema System as i hardly ever watch DVD's, or would i benefit from an amp and 2 good floor standing speakers?

Or maybe the sound from the TV will be adequate! Would i even notice a difference from 2 good quality speakers? Whats your opinion chaps?

Frankly i wouldnt think of TV or LCD speakers for good quality audio

But if you are only going to be watching cable TV on your LCD then the LCD speakers are good enough
