Panasonic SC-HT40: Questions

Hi All.
I'm looking for some assistance in solving the following issues/queries.

I have the following equipment:
Panasonic TH-42PV60A Plasma TV
Panasonic SC-HT40 Home Theatre Audio System
LG LST-6100P STB
Panasonic DMR-EH55 DVD Recorder

1. Is there any way I can set the home theatre system to switch from TV to DVR/DVD-P automatically when i change from TV to DVR on the remote? At the moment I have to switch it manually on the home theatre remote.

2. How do I stop the TV speakers playing at the same time as the home theatre system speakers. The menu on page 20 of the TV manual shows a Home Theatre option but I cant get that option on my TV menu.

3. Im not sure if I have connected the external equipment up right. I generally followed the drawings in the manuals but it's confusing when you have 4 manuals showing different connections. Is there any website I could go to get connection diagrams for the above equipment.

Would appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thanks in advance
