JVC TH-L1 Has Anybody Got One
I'm looking for a Home Cinema Kit with HDMI switching, and i've just come across this JVC TH-L1, http://jvc.co.uk/product.php?id=TH-L...=feature#table, but i have not heard anything about it, has anybody got an opinion on it, looks a little weak on sound, but lots of inputs and outputs.

Re: JVC TH-L1 Has Anybody Got One
I would also like to know a bit more about this, it looks like a nice piece of kit and would be really useful to me with HDMI, component and optical inputs.
The only real info I've found is this http://www.jvcgate.co.uk
Rich.

Re: JVC TH-L1 Has Anybody Got One
Guys
this product only just out so not so many end-user reviews are out there.
www.jvcgate.co.uk is currently your best gateway to get more info on the product.
We'd love to hear any first-hand reviews from all you gamers in particular!

Re: JVC TH-L1 Has Anybody Got One
I've found a couple of places that sell it:
digital-point.co.uk £224.00 delivered but I've never heard of them.
http://www.digital-point.co.uk/model...&source=kelkoo
electricaldiscountuk.co.uk £257.99 + £3.99 delivery
http://www.electricaldiscountuk.co.u...b68d8bf3b8b8f7
I'm really tempted but I'm not sure about the sound output (360w), my current DVD surround has 750w but I never have it turned up that loud so will 360w be enough for a 4 x 5 meter living room ?
Has anyone used digital-point before, if so are they ok ?
Rich.

Re: JVC TH-L1 Has Anybody Got One
Im also very interested in this. I was thinking of getting the Sony HT-SF1100 but i discovered today that the HDMI pass-thru only supports up to 1080i. Whilst this is not an issue currently, im thinking of the future.

Re: JVC TH-L1 Has Anybody Got One
Good link Rich G.
Certainly looks promising as a small, low powered surround solution which is exactly what I'd need.
Would go very well with my Panasonic PX70 plasma. If only I wasn't skint now after buying said plasma...

Re: JVC TH-L1 Has Anybody Got One
I'd be really interested to know if this unit can process multi-channel PCM via the HMDI socket. Any ideas?

Re: JVC TH-L1 Has Anybody Got One
Take a look at this link (it's in French unfortunately). It shows a series of images with one of the rear panel showing it's actively cooled.
Can anyone see the specified 2 x component in and 1 out? Maybe they're on the other side of the speaker spring terminals.
Anyway here's that link:

Re: JVC TH-L1 Has Anybody Got One
That looks like a serious nice piece of kit and is making me change my mind yet again.Really would like to read a review first too as the total power of 360W bothers me a bit but I live in an apartment so obviously cant have it overly loud either.Decisions,decisions,decisions.
