Sony HT-SS100 Unlock Message

Newbie question alert!

I have just bought a Sony Ht-SS1000 and connected it through coax to my liteon a110 dvd recorder. When I choose DD audio on disks all is fine, but when I choose a DTS soundtrack the SS1000 flashes 'UNLOCK' briefly. Is this because the liteon can't process dts (I'm not sure it can - cant find the manual but it doesnt say dts on the box) or is there something else I'm not doing

TIA

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this...

Re: Sony HT-SS100 Unlock Message

it may be,or there may be something in the liteon menu, enabling or allowing DTS.
if there is,enable it,if not,you just have to select DD...is there no logo on the front of the dvd recorder??

No just the DD logo so I think it doesnt do dts - may have to buy a
player that does - wont the OH be pleased (more 'boxes' to clutter the room)
