5.1 system without dvd player

Hi guys i hope youse can point me in the right direction. Im looking for a 5.1 home cinema system - i am looking to feed my:
1. pionneer 575 dvd player
2. Sky+
3. Xbox 360
4. Laptop (3.5mm jack would be fine)

- through the system

Can youse recommend a decent home cinema surround system.....

As i said, i dont need a dvd player, hdmi upscaling etc

I'm considering a sony ht-ss or sf 1000 or one of the DW systems (dw 8800 ?)

They do have HDMI but no built in DVD.

thanks guys for the replys, i managed to pickup the system i wanted all along today - Panasonic ht855 - with hdmi and optical.
Picked it up in a local store here in Ireland for 379 euro which is about 256 sterling. I didnt mind paying a bit extra because im not a bit fan of buying off the internet......
