ELAC Cinema ESP MK2 5.1 System

Does anyone have any experience of the ELAC Cinema ESP MK2 5.1 compact surround sound system. I'm thinking of purchasing this system as I'm looking for a set of compact speakers for approx £200.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

Yes Dan, i've got one. It's small and well made and for movies it's fine but for music it's not. Still it's worth £200 of anyones money.

I purchased the cinema 2 system about 2 months ago and am really, really happy with it. I bought the speakers as I was returning to seperates after a short spell with an "all in one" and couldn't really afford a big spend.
For the size I think they are amazing, so much better than the Denon system I had before.
Unlike cookie, I am more than happy with the sound quality from both DVD and CD.
I would be surprised if you could get the cinema II package for £200.00 though mate. I bought mine from SuperFi online and the package cost me £299.99, far and away the cheapest I had seen them anywhere else. Shortly after purchasing mine they disappeared from the SuperFi website, never to be seen again.
The Cinema I package is still shown on there though at £199.95.
Good luck with your hunt, if you do get them I don't think you will be disappointed.
