LG LH-C6235 power button fault!

My LG LH-C6235 as a power button fault, in that after a couple of minutes of being turned on it goes back to standbye. It is 14 months old and LG service want nothing to do with it as its out of warrenty!!!
As anyone else had this problem and how much did it cost to have it repaired, I could just be throwing good money after bad.

Fault

Hi
the fault is apparently caused by two 5v regulators IC 705 IC 706
I have one of these with the samre fault,I have just ordered the regulators to repair it,so will let you know if it works,have you had it repaired yet? if you know of a different fault email me paul.mortimer@boxclever.co.uk update :- replaced regulators cured the problem
