Question Denon 500 vs. Panny SC-DM3

I have panny SC-DM3 and was wondering if it's worth buying Denon 500 SD or going the component way.

I am not familiar with your existing home cinema kit but provided it does DD5.1 and DTS, I would keep it and only upgrade once it breaks down.
