LG HX806PE Home cinema

Hello! Do i need to set all the speakers to be the same volume level as it says in manual or this is not the right thing that i can do for best surround sound? Bear in mind that my rear speakers is placed in floor level without a stand.

My settings are as follows

Does this settings represent the decibel levels?

To reproduce audio as close to the original recording/mix as possible, you should set all the speakers to the same volume. Assuming there is a test tone feature on the home cinema system, enable that while sitting at your main viewing position and use it to set all of the speakers to the same volume.

You can turn up the output from the rear speakers for increased ‘effect’, but it won’t sound how the director intended (assuming you are watching a movie with a 5.1 soundtrack). Typically, you won’t hear the rear speakers. They are mainly for adding ambient sound effects, not directional sound.
