Hello everyone,
I currently have a Samsung SM2032MW TV / Monitor.
I'm going to sell it and get an
LG W2361V (mainly due to resolution, size and picture quality)
Devices that I currently have wired up in one hell of a screwed up configuration
Sony HiFi
Sony HiFi Speakers (Outputs to regular speaker cables)
Xbox 360 (with HDMI)
Samsung SM2032MW
PS2 (RCA / Scart)
Gamecube (RCA / Scart)
Computer (Outputs to DVI but can do HDMI, in fact I think I can configure it to carry the sound cards audio through the HDMI aswell)
Now, my current Samsung SM2032MW is infact a TV, so it has things like RCA and Scart, which I use for the Gamecube and PS2. However, the LG W2361V is a monitor, and so only has DVI in, VGA in and HDMI in.
I don't need the Sony HiFi but would like to continue using the speakers, they don't use any special port or anything, it's just bare speaker wire at the end that goes into the little holes.
I need a way to hook all this up. I'd have thought I could get some kind of AV Box that I plug EVERYTHING in to, then just have HDMI out to the monitor.
I might be being stupid, if there isn't a way to do this try and suggest alternatives.
Thanks a lot,
Matt
