Hello

i just bought and setup my HB system....

Everything is perfect except mkv files which can't even
recognize.

I tried through my external drive (NTFS)
my flash stick (8gig FAT32)
my DVD disk (udf)

but....

NOTHING

Any opinions please

have you tried updating the firmware? this firmware release seems to be same worldwide (hb954 pb / tb / tbw / sa), checked through different country site.

Any succes to play .mkv files on the LGHB954PB system? I've had mine for a while now and I'm really missing the .mkv support.

Have You checked firmware update?

If the firmware is same as HB954SA it should play MKV files.

Here is the link for firmware from december 2009, it should enable MKV playback, is this Your current foirmware?

Yes that's the firmware I run with today but still no .mkv support. Where have you got the infomation about this new firmware should support .mkv files?
