Recommendations for a 2.1 System

Hi All

To go with the new LCD TV, i am also after a 2.1 system (im not particulary bothered about the whole 5.1 experience, my room is a very particular shape, plus i have laminate flooring so hiding the wires is a pain).

Does anyone have any ideas/recommendations.

Thanks

Alex

What sort of budget you looking at?
What you needing from the system in terms of dvd/blu-ray player and inputs/outputs?

Re: Recommendations for a 2.1 System

I have the Kef Kit120 and it is extremely good.

Optical inputs to the small head unit from Sky+ HD and blu-ray player (the head unit also has a built in DVD but that is fairly redundant with the blu-ray player.

Power is in the sub.

Convincing simulated surround and extremely good clarity - the bass is fantastic

Lower end to moderate, i dont have the £££ to be honest.

Ideally i would like a PS3 to input through it, along with my TV/DVD player.

Thanks

Onkyo HTX22HD seems the obvious choice and it's down to £236 on amazon.
