Samsung HT-BD1255 rear speaker problem

Hi i have just installed the above system and all is fine when playing blu-rays but when i watch my btv the sound coming out of the rear speakers is considerably lower than the front speakers!

I have my amp connected to my tv with a hdmi cable and also a optical cable!

Any help would be greatly appreciated
