Hey, I’ve briefly migrated over from the AVF Xbox forums to ask a quick question that I’m hoping some of you could answer as getting no joy in the gaming forums.
I'm looking for a decent home cinema / surround sound kit that works really well with the xbox360. I understand the 360 does not yet support Dolby 7.1 but it's possible this could be integrated into games pretty soon..?? So I’m happy to go for a Dolby 5.1 but not bothered by the DVD / BlueRay player that often gets bundled into these packages. I have 4 very nice KEF speakers with BassBox but i want to move these into the front room and opt for the speakers that will come with the kit. I have a SAMSUNG LE32R88BD TV and really would like to keep with this brand mainly due to the AnyTime+ features. I also need to connect my laptop via HDMI or phono lead and my VirginPlus box that has optical connection.
My cost range is between £200 - £300 so have been looking at the SAMSUNG HT-TZ325 pictured below.

I have no idea about Surround Sound / AV Receivers and even stupider when it comes wiring them. All i know is i want to have the 360 degree sound effect when playing Call Of Duty MW2, i want to be able to hear the footsteps when people are creeping up on me. Also has to be pretty loud when i get drunk and play RockBand.
I've checked the specs and cant work out if this bundle covers all my requirements. Also if anyone could recommend a similar package that be just dandy.
EDIT - My Xbox is connected via HDMI
Here’s the
link to my thread in the Xbox forums with some other bundles i have been looking at.
Thanks
