1080i broadcast film is not the same quality as 1080p BluRay, so if the deinterlacing is not perfect it's not going to make a lot of difference to the end result. As David said, a few extra jaggies.

There are lots of other TVs that dont do this correctly.
Thank you, most helpful. I really had my heart set on the V10. I'll still go to an independent dealer I know not far away and ask him to demo it, (when it comes into stock, which should be soon now).
