I have to make the same decision, although I'm looking at the 37" X10 PM at £549.99 as well. The C10 seems to differ on the points you make above to the X10. Personally 2hdmi inputs doesn't bother me and the surround sound probably doesn't make much difference. It's the same panel but I 'think' uses V-Real3 instead of 4 but I wouldn't know what sort of difference that makes. There was also some talk of it not having a filter to help stop reflections etc. I looked at it in JL through the built in Freeview and it looked decent enough to me. The x10 didn't look any better anyway.

Maybe the biggest difference will be the eco mode which has recieved quite a lot of good support on here.

However, I've found that the X10's all look fairly poor if I'm honest in the shop but the rave reviews they get must mean they get better with age and with lighting conditions and look better when properly set up etc.

I'm going for a X10 or C10 myself so I'm relying on peoples opinions on here! I can't see a proper review for the C10 coming out for a while but user reviews on here hopefully will start appearing in the next week or so when people recieve them from JL. RS are doing it at 499.99 with 1yr or 550 with 5.

I've been researching for quite a while now and I'm starting to think will I even notice the difference! As long as there isn't loads of motion blur etc I'm sure I won't notice how deep the blacks are etc when it's in my living room with nothing to compare it with.
