I've pinged some shots to a few of the papers - we'll see what happens tomorrow but it's a tricky one to get into the nationals.

I'm hardly one to give advice after such a small amount of experience so far, but here goes. Take warm clothes and a hat! Take a small stool to sit on as shots from lower down look better. Gear-wise, the widest aperture lens that you can find, preferably 300mm. Any longer would be a waste. A 200mm (like a 70-200) might do the trick for close-in stuff. If the light is low, you need f/2.8.
Try and fill the frame. Dont bother if the action is too far away - you'll end up with rubbish that you need to crop to smithereens. Wait for it to come to you. If it doesn't you're sitting in the wrong place. Get faces looking towards the camera whilst in action, and with the ball in shot. It's easy really
