SSDs are all about random access tho. The Intel is quick at bulk reads/writes, but absolutely awesome in real windows day-to-day stuff. All I'm saying is if I were ready to spend nearly £2k on a PC now, it'd have to include an x25-m.

I would really recommend building your own. You're gonna get a warranty on each individual part anyway, and the sense of achievement is fantastic... and you save a little as well.
