My Samsung is the LE40M8. I can use 1280x1024 - this is supported by the Dell, and it looks pretty good. In fact if I'm using word I often switch to this resolution, then in excel I put back to 1920x1080 to give me more space to work with. Zooming in the browser (Firefox or IE7) is no problem - use Ctrl and the mouse wheel. Picture is softer in 1280 x 1024, but still good.
