Thanks for all the info guys but he has gone plasma!!. He contacted JL for a pricematch at the weekend and has just told me they accepted it... so £606 for the PX37 plasma which leaves him enough for his Onkyo 606 and kef eggs he has talked his missus into letting him get.
A failure for the LCD followers but a result for mankind!!!!!!
