Thanks for that, I was not aware the info re 100hz on the LXD model was incorrect so cheers for that. To be honest I think the plasma would be better for his needs once he has gone through the hassle of the running in period. Watched the footie in HD last night with a mate who has a 40" Sony Bravia, bloody awful compared to my 42" panny plasma!!
