Why are you blaming Sony ? You have an import console which you're trying to sue with a PAL TV and PAL games. Sony have no obligation to make sure such a combination works. If you had bought a UK PS3 then you wouldn't have this issue. The risk of importing anything is that it may not be fully compatiblde with local products.
