Hi

Have this DVD player hooked up with component as using HD on Sky.

It is connected to my Amp with coaxial.

However to get audio direct from the TV what do I need.

I was wondering if I could use digital optical straight to the TV rather than phono (red and white). The TV does have this connection.

From reading the manual (which is very technical for me!) I get the impression you have to play around with the settings for this to work. Is this right?

I'm thinking that should the kids or wife want a DVD on without the surround sound they should be able to do this very simply.
