The cables are easy to install in plasterboard walls. First work out where you are mounting the tv, then work out where the cables are going into your tv roughly. i then cut a hole in the plasterboard where the tv would be wall mounted and down at the bottom cut another hole where the cables would come out to go to reciever, dvd, etc. You can get things to cover the holes but if you tv is wall mounted you should be able to make the hole far enough up that you would only ever see it if you took it off the wall. same again for the bottom if you have some sort of av rack or entertainment center. if you have the money and cannot be bothered setting up yourself then get someone. personally i enjoy setting things up and saving the money as they do charge quite a bit for what relatively is an easy job.
