I didnt say where in the sequence the codes were missing ( and wont be doing ) and as I said I dont know if they are needed if as you say the string of 10 codes Virus found is working on those units.
On many units it's not just the codes themselves that are important , it's the way that they are delivered that can be crucial hence a learning remote cannot correctly duplicate the original Panasonic remote as it will deliver remote codes in a different way.
It is true that some models ( the cheaper standalone players ) are less fussy about the delivery of the code and this could explain why you are not seeing any problems with your Divx units.
