well i've had this player for a week now and i'm very pleased with it. i've been watching the star wars trilogy over the weekend and the picture was very crisp and clear with great sound with no judder, picture shift, lip synk or freezing-up.
the player itself is well built for a budget player and has a good set-up menu to play around with. up to now, i've had 2 hdmi players. the first being the phillips(froze up too often), second was the pioneer dv490(found the picture a little poor on my set-up) so i've settled for the sony and i'm now happy and would recomend it as a good up-scaling player.
