I had tried this before (I loaded 3.5) and found MPC better. I've just tried it again and find it is better than 3.5
3.5 also still seems to have the bug you mention anyway.
Although there is still occasional stutter it is at least watchable.
I'll see what it's like for the Portugal game and post back later.
