Sorry, just noticed this!

I haven't had an in-depth look at the JVCs the same way I have for the Sonys (just being a normal consumer and all). But I did try one out in a store with my GameCube. I'd say they are perhaps second to the Sonys.

I went for the Sony V2000 for a few reasons.

1. The scaling to me looked better - cleaner, more natural (it costs 450 pounds more!)
2. I was intrigued by the idea of Live Colour Creation.
3. And part of it was the fact that I trust Sony to come through on picture quality after the last Sony LCD I had.

But I did want to see if I could save 450 pounds so I did give the JVC a good look. You can read about that here:
