Nope...where did you get this info from...

There have been some dealers offering an extra 12 months on top of the std warranty...but it is not the norm
If you don't think Sky looks largely pathetic then there's something wrong with your eyes. Since I got the Lumagen the resolution has doubled under many circumstances. Check out a proper video processor for yourself and then return with a flippant comment. Oh, and learn what deinterlacing is too.

It was Pioneer customer support who stated that all Pioneer 435XDE's come with a two year warranty. It was also heavily advertised in the press at the time. The 436XDE's were never covered by the two year warranty though (Pioneer revoked it for the new models).
