I have also joined this "club". Didn't see this thread and posted a new one. Having read this thread, I believe that by now Canon must know that that the MV600i is "not fit for the purpose intended" and therefore we may have some recourse through the Sale of Goods Act.
XURBA - have you had any luck or has anyone else made any progress?
I too would be happy to add my name to any petition.
