Assuming you haven't changed any particular settings try a firmware update. Or try a "reinitialise" - with no disc in and it saying no disc on the display push and hold down both the "disc layer" button on the left and the "stop" button on the right. Hold them down until it says "reinitilizing" and let go. Then it should say "reinitialized".
Pop a disc in and try again.
