I have owned a TX-P42G20B Plasma for a while now and have been very pleased with it. The sound could be a bit clearer and I agree that the maximum light level could be a bit higher. However, I spent ages getting the picture levels to my liking for evening viewing and now leave things well alone. During daylight viewing I do need to draw the blinds in bright sunny conditions. Previous set was LCD and the difference took a bit of getting used to, however when HD became available, the Plasma set came into its own. With both Freeview and Freesat tuners fitted, this was always the choice for me.
