Media Serving multiple room installation

Hi all AVF geniuses!

This is what I am thinking to get done, and would appreciate your comments and feedback please.
All kit to be hard wired to attain as much quality and connectivity as possible.

So in each room will be:

Lounge;
- Display - KRP500 (existing kit)
- Dune
- PS3 (existing kit)
- 5.1 sound, or 7.1
- music player - TBC

Family Room;
- Display - KRP500 (existing kit)
- Dune
- PS3
- 5.1 sound, or 7.1

Bedroom;
- Display - TBC
- Dune
- PS3 - TBC
- Sound - TBC
- music player - TBC (can this be combined with the speakers for the sound for rest of kit?)

Office Loft:
- PC with Windows 7 (existing kit), can be used to access media server content
- Display - TBC (if separate from PC monitor)

Garage:
- Media server - my-HTPC XL1430
- Onkyo 875 amp (existing kit)
- additional amp - TBC
- DreamBox HD8000 (existing kit)
- Sky HD box (existing kit)
- Pioneer KRP media box (existing kit)
- Pioneer KRP media box (existing kit)

External:
- motorised dish (existing kit)
- sky dish (existing kit)

Controls:
- MyMovies for iPad
- all in one remote of some kind? - TBC

TV in each room... can this be centrally stored and operated, or do I need stb in each room? Any overlap with the Dune's?
Welcome recommendations on the kit that into be confirmed, and where no specifics have yet been identified.

The aesthetics of the build will be the next step, just need to sort the configurations first...
Many Thanks, and look forward to hearing from you all.
