I've just updated the thread. Dont let me put you off! I'm certain that the lack of bass-boom and shake is a result of the room being a bit too large for the xls200, and also the fact that the xls200 is so well made it doesn't distort at lower volumes so doesn't create any artificial soundwaves that could add to room-shake.
It DOES shake the room a bit and i can clearly feel bass thru the sofa - just not as much as the SW150 could achieve. Sonically the xls200 is light-years ahead of my old sub....just not powerful enough for my room i think.
In all honesty if i could fit the xls400 i would just be ordering that right now.
Sadly i cant, so it looks like i need to go back to ported to offset the smaller size, and around 350mm width/depth too....which narrows my choices somewhat!
