I am running the latest UEFI version - strangely with the original shipping version a Core i3-2100 was showing as 3.3GHz instead of 3.1GHz!

On a more positive note the PC is now using much less power at idle than the previous Athlon X2 250 - so much less in fact that my "Intelliplug" kept thinking the PC had gone to sleep and turned off my screen and speakers - had to reset the "Intelliplug".
