I'm down in sunny cornwall lol... I've got a letter from lg giving me 3 months to return the tv to the retailer for a full refund! After speaking to richer sounds they have agreed that i keep the tv in the mean time until nearer when the new models are released and then do a direct replacement, they will pick up the old tv when the new one is delivered...
