it could possibly be more work, but then perhaps it'd actually make things easier as the bargains forum would be less cluttered so a mod wouldn't have to read through pages and pages of chat every time they check-in, they could archive the thread on the first "back up to £..." or "out of stock now" post and rely on post reports for the expired bargains forum
