Hmm, this is a tough one. I think if I knew what I know now (solarisation problems etc, on what appears to be all plasmas??) I may have spent a bit more and opted for a slighty smaller LCD screen. I have an LCD and the quality is great!

What I will say for this TV is, believe what everyone says about the longer you have it the better the pic gets, especially the colours (skintones etc). You will see a massive improvement as the weeks go on. So dont panic if you think it looks poor when first plugged in.

Watching a DVD is fantastic, especially once connected to component with progressive scan. BUT with SKY+, watching all the normal day to day rubbish can at times be disappointing to outright cr*p!

The settings in this post are useful, I tried loads, and was moaned at from my other half every 2 mins however I have found that you can only truly set this yourself. Everyone has a diffferent idea of what a good picture looks like
