I wouldn't recommend it, anything with such unlikely specs (500W for just £11) is likely to be rather poor quality. Stick with the scaleo one if possible as you know that works reliably.

The information you want from the PSU should be on a label on the side of the PSU. The important bits are the paired voltage and amperage figures, For example:

+3.3v  +5v  +12V
  6A    10A   14A
And so on (there will probably be a few more).

With no graphics card and a relatively low-end CPU about 300W should be fine unless you're planning to overclock or something, the important figure will be the +12V line.

Power supply connectors have changed over time, there's a page detailing them here. Specifically you want to check whether the PSU provides a 24-pin (or 20 + 4 pin) motherboard connector, a 4 pin ATX +12 connector and, if you're going for a new hard drive or DVD drive, SATA power connectors.
